WHAT IS B.O.S.A.?
We are friends, neighbors, & families who care about preserving open space in the city of Boise. We value our city's neighborhoods, parks, trails, rivers, wildlife, and desire to see these preserved for current and future generations.
We stand for sensible growth that balances the needs of a growing city with the needs of its citizens. We believe there can be a balance between growth and keeping the character of Boise's many neighborhoods.
We believe locally elected officals should represent all the city and not just certain areas. We believe they should listen to their citizens and demonstrate reasonable governance in matters such as rezoning and development.
We believe neighbors should unite when their voices and concerns are not heard. We affirm the notion that we are stronger together and united we can influence change.
We support other neighbors, associations, and individuals who stand up for preserving unique areas in the city we love.
